The social and moral principles that I find compelling is Locke's libertarian view. His idea of natural rights and liberty is what our own constitution is based on which shows its acceptance in history. These principles fit in rather well with how I live my life and how I interact with others. I do what I want with what I have as long as it does not affect the life or well-being of others. Locke proposes the idea of property being what frees you from being a slave to any group or monarchy. because no one can tell you what to do with what you own. and that is very prevalent in my life and our society as a whole.I think they do not conflict at all instead they go hand in hand, and fit together well.
